2008 - Present Capitol Law Group, PLLC Boise, ID

Attorney (Partner)

Capitol Law Group ('CLG') is a mid-sized law office in Boise, Idaho.   My law practice centers on corporate law, administrative law (board licensing, water law and natural resource law) and federal criminal defense.

I also am of counsel to Roy Eiguren Public Policy as a lobbyist-lawyer.  As a lobbyist, I represent various agricultural, telecommunications, energy, hospital, waste management and related concerns as a direct interface between my clients and administrative agencies and the legislative and executive branches of state and federal government.

In addition to the above, I supervise and coordinate work of several associate attorneys, office staff and assist in general management and marketing of the business.

2004 - 2008 Arkoosh Law Offices, CHTD Gooding and Boise, ID

Attorney (Shareholder)

In 2008, Arkoosh Law Offices ('ALO') was merged into CLG.  At ALO, I did substantially the same things as I am doing now with a greater emphasis on water law and ongoing conflicts between surface water and groundwater users.

2005 - 2006 College of Southern Idaho Twin Falls, ID

Adjunct Professor

For two years, I taught the following courses to undergraduate students:  BUSA 265, Legal Environment of Business (Spring 2005; Spring 2006); HSP 150, Hospitality Law (Spring 2006).

2002 - 2003 National Agriculture Law Center Fayetteville, AR

Graduate Fellow

My duties included drafting summaries of various issues of interest for the National Ag Law Center and disseminating the results of my work to legislators, attorneys and farmers.  Most of these issues involved the Clean Water Act and debtor/creditor matters centering on Chapter 12 bankruptcy and Federal Farm Subsidy and Conservation programs.

2000 - 2002  Hon. Don L. Harding       Soda Springs, ID

Judicial Clerk

While clerking, I drafted decisions, memoranda and sentencing advisory opinions for a sitting state district judge; mostly in the area of general civil litigation.
